It is men's health week this week (14/06 until 20/06), which does not simply involve men curling up in front of the TV with low-fat crisps and skinny lager... good as that may be for relaxing the mind. Why not challenge yourself with the CAN DO challenge, for a simple and fun way to improve your physical and mental health? Women who wish to support the men in their life can join in too.
CAN DO stands for CONNECT (contact a friend you have not seen since the start of lockdown), be ACTIVE (do something physical you enjoy), NOTICE (switch off your mobile and look at the world around you), DISCOVER (read a new book), and OFFER (to do something for someone else). You can do one of these activities each day from Monday to Friday, or find an activity that combines all five.
